Our Story
More than a fashion brand — a celebration of identity, resilience, and community, proudly rooted in the African diaspora.

Inspired by our Afro-Colombian founder, Martha Nieto, and her years living in the USA and Italy and traveling across Europe and Asia, we bring a global perspective to every collection. Our bold, colorful designs feature striking prints drawn from nature, animals, and especially birds — a symbol of freedom, and one of our core values.
We are a laidback-elegance brand, offering versatile, comfy-chic pieces that move effortlessly from day to night. Our clothing empowers women to stand out confidently and to embrace their beauty through life's transitions — from changing careers to evolving family roles.
Sustainability is central to our ethos. We use 95% natural or recycled fabrics and keep production batches small to reduce waste. Each piece reflects our commitment to timeless design and environmental care.
As an Afro-diaspora brand, we proudly center Black women in our storytelling and designs — not to exclude others, but to normalize their representation and amplify their visibility. We create a space where every woman feels seen, celebrated, and valued, while welcoming everyone who shares our love for joy, beauty, and authenticity.
The name Lulo comes from a fruit that has always brought happiness to our founder, and we pass that feeling on to you. We are a project because we are always evolving — building a space where every Lulo Lover feels seen, valued, and inspired.
