Hi, I am Martha J. Nieto. I’m Colombian by birth, but after having lived in South America, North America, and Europe, as well as traveling extensively around Asia for business, I consider myself a citizen of the world.
I’ve had the privilege of working for more than 15 years in luxury fashion brands such as Valentino, Roberto Cavalli, Gianfranco Ferre, and Trussardi. These brands truly influenced me in my aesthetic design and vision to create my own brand.
And I've followed that inspiration to turn one of my all-time childhood dreams into a fashion business that I can call my own. One in which I can see myself represented and to which I can bring my career learnings to create pieces and collections based on my core principles: Comfort Chic, Diversity, Sustainability, and Inclusiveness.
Comfort chic because I value high fashion and quality without restraining my body.
Diversity because I believe our differences make us richer.
Sustainability because dressing up while being conscious about Mother Earth is the right thing to do
Inclusiveness because I believe representation matters.
Under this inspiration is how The Lulo Project was born!
Enjoy Lulo,
Love
